Recommended installation principles
1. Choose the power supply for the LED strip correctly. The total power of the LED strip should be around 80% of the power supply's power. It should not work at full load to ensure the power supply provides the correct and stable voltage.
2. We recommend that the LED strip be 5 meters per section. If the length of each section exceeds 5 meters, the light brightness of the rear end will decay a lot. However, it is also necessary to consider the actual installation situation and customer requirements.
3. The back of the LED strip has adhesive tape. Due to its excellent adhesion and weather resistance, it can be glued to glass, metal, and plastic surfaces. Still, building materials such as cloth and wood will affect the firmness and durability of the adhesive. Please test the adhesion of the LED strip before installation.
4. The minimum bending radius of the light strip is 60mm. Please be careful not to bend it too tightly, as this could damage the components on the FPC and cause the light strip to malfunction.
5. To ensure water and corrosion resistance, it is recommended to inject single-component silicone (or neutral glass glue, or waterproof grease) into the terminal after the power cord is screwed into the airport, covering the exposed copper wire of the power cord for protection.
6. Non-waterproof LED strips should not be fully exposed to outdoor use. Do not touch or work on live electrical equipment.
7. It is recommended to use a power supply that has been certified to local safety standards (with short circuit protection, overvoltage protection, and overcurrent protection).
